The Vector 6015P solves a specific production problem: cutting long-format metal without repositioning the workpiece. The 6000×1500 mm working area covers a full standard sheet and allows cutting strip, profile, or a full part layout in a single pass — where a 3015P would require splitting the sheet or repositioning the material.
This machine is built for operations where the sheet is not cut down to fit a smaller work zone, and the process is designed around the actual blank size.
Key Advantages of the Vector 6015P:
- Six meters without repositioning — that’s not just convenience, it’s production time recovered. In operations that process long sheets, strip, or structural profiles, every repositioning step means lost time and an additional alignment error. The 6015P eliminates that step: the blank loads once and is processed in full.
- A bed built for sustained heavy-duty use. The welded frame, milled in a single setup, maintains geometric stability across large axis travel. The machine weight of approximately 2,800 kg reflects the structural rigidity required for reliable, repeatable cutting across a six-meter working envelope.
- ±0.05 mm positioning accuracy across the full length of the field. The rack-and-pinion drive with planetary gearboxes and Nema 34 stepper motors maintains consistent positioning whether the cut is at the start or the far end of a six-meter blank.
- THC compensates for sheet irregularities across the full length — automatically. Flatness deviations are more common on long sheets than on short ones. The torch height control system tracks and compensates across the entire working length, maintaining a constant nozzle-to-metal standoff. The result is a consistent edge without manual zone-by-zone adjustment.
- Plasma source matched to actual material thickness. From 100A for structural steel cutting to 200A for heavy-gauge plate. Power is selected for the actual material and thickness — no overpaying for capacity that won’t be used.
