The Vector 1616F3 is a CNC router with three spindles mounted on a single gantry. All three spindles move synchronously and follow the same toolpath, enabling three identical workpieces to be machined simultaneously.

Technical Features and Advantages:

  • The key advantage of the Vector 1616F3 is the ability to machine three identical parts at the same time. Workpieces are placed on the table, and all three spindles then perform the same operation driven by a single control program.

    This working format is especially effective in series production, where identical parts must be manufactured regularly. The number of active spindles can be adjusted to suit the task. For batch processing of identical parts, all three spindles can run simultaneously. When a single workpiece needs machining, two spindles are switched off and the job is completed with one.

    All spindles remain mechanically linked by the shared gantry and move along the same trajectory. Each of the three spindles is equipped with its own VFD. This allows spindles to be switched on and off individually depending on the current task, while their motion stays synchronized.

  • Precision mechanics: the combination of ballscrews and linear guideways ensures high positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm across the entire work area.

  • The built-in air-cooling system needs no water pump or chiller. This reduces the number of serviceable components and simplifies startup. At 24,000 rpm, the spindles handle both tools up to 13 mm in diameter and fine engraving bits. Built-in temperature sensors protect each spindle from overheating.

  • VECTOR Drive is a hardware and software platform for VECTOR machines, built on an industrial CNC controller. Depending on the equipment model and configuration, controllers from various manufacturers may be used, integrated, localized, and optimized by VECTOR engineers.
