The Vector 2010COL is an open-frame CO2 laser system built for cutting and engraving thick sheet materials on a 2000×1000 mm bed. Every component — the RECI W6 150W tube, long-focal-length 3″ and 4″ optics, 30 mm mirrors, CW-5300 chiller, and 1500 m³/h extraction — is configured to deliver clean, vertical cuts through materials up to 20 mm thick at working speeds.

Key Advantages of the Vector 2010COL:

  • The 3″ or 4″ lens provides a significantly deeper focal range than the standard 2″ or 2.5″ lenses found on smaller models. The result is a cut edge that stays vertical through the full material thickness — up to 20 mm — eliminating the tapered profile common with short-focal-length optics. For furniture manufacturing and sign-making, this means parts fit together flush, without gaps or additional edge finishing.
  • The RECI W6 tube delivers a true 150W output. 30 mm mirrors reduce power loss along the optical path, ensuring more energy reaches the cutting point rather than dissipating. The CW-5300 chiller with 1.8 kW cooling capacity maintains a stable thermal envelope, preventing power drop-off even under full-shift loads.
  • The open structure is not about oversized workpieces. It is about safely and efficiently loading heavy, full-size sheets. A standard 2000×1000×20 mm acrylic sheet weighs approximately 50 kg. An enclosed lid would turn every loading cycle into a two-person struggle. The open frame eliminates that bottleneck.
  • Choose between a honeycomb table and a slat table at the time of order. The honeycomb table reduces back-reflection by allowing the laser beam to pass through the material and scatter inside the cell — preventing scorch marks and residue on the underside of the workpiece. The slat table provides rigid, point-contact support for heavy sheets, keeping the back surface clean with minimal contact area.
  • The extraction nozzle is mounted directly on the gantry, next to the laser head. Smoke and combustion byproducts are captured at the cutting point before they can disperse into the workshop. The 1500 m³/h airflow is specifically sized to compensate for the open-frame configuration.
  • In its standard configuration, the machine ships with long-focal-length optics optimized for clean cutting of thick materials, producing a minimum character size of 1.5×1.5 mm. If your workflow includes finer engraving, the machine can be optionally equipped with a 2.5″ lens, achieving a 1×1 mm character size comparable to our enclosed models. Specify your preference when ordering.

The machine is available with a range of upgrade options for specific production needs.

Applications:

  • Furniture manufacturing: cutting 12–18 mm plywood for cabinet bodies, MDF panels, decorative millwork
  • Signage and display: acrylic signs 10–20 mm thick, dimensional lettering, illuminated light boxes
  • Interior décor: custom wall panels, room dividers, stencils from thick sheet stock
  • Light industry: cutting thick leather, rubber matting, PVC
  • Any production environment where clean, straight cuts through thick sheet material are a daily requirement
