The Vector 2505F.DOOR is a specialized CNC center designed for precise end-face machining of door leaves. The model is built for routing locks, hinges, and hardware into the vertical edge of the workpiece in series production.
The work area matches most standard door formats. The door leaf is clamped on the table, and a moving beam with the spindle travels along the workpiece, giving the tool access to the working edge along its full length in a single setup — the operator does not need to reposition the door to cut hinge pockets, lock recesses, or other hardware seats.
Technical Features and Advantages:
- The 2500×500×150 mm work area covers the height of most interior and entrance doors. The machine performs all operations on the vertical edge of the leaf without repositioning the workpiece, saving operator time and eliminating errors from repeated setup.
- Ballscrews on all axes provide rigidity, linear guides ensure smooth beam travel along the workpiece, and stepper motors deliver stable operation without lost steps at working feed rates. The machine structure withstands intensive two- or three-shift operation without loss of geometry.
- Pneumatic clamps provide fast, reliable clamping of the door leaf across its full surface. Pneumatic stops enable quick, precise positioning of the leaf before clamping, while the foamed PVC table surface prevents damage to the underside of the workpiece — especially important when the door already has decorative finishing.
- The 2.2 kW air-cooled spindle with working speeds up to 24,000 rpm delivers stable routing without overheating during extended operation. The machine can run shift after shift without cooling pauses, maintaining consistent quality on every door.
- The VECTOR Drive control system is a hardware and software platform for VECTOR machines, built on an industrial CNC controller. Depending on the equipment model and configuration, controllers from various manufacturers may be used, integrated, localized, and optimized by VECTOR engineers.
Applications:
- Production of interior and entrance doors
- Manufacturing of cabinet doors and fronts
- Furniture production (edge machining of panel components)
- Hardware insertion stations in series production
- Small shops and joinery workshops with continuous output
