The VECTOR 6020OVL is an industrial fiber laser cutting machine with a 6000×2000 mm work area, designed for high-precision sheet metal cutting in series and large-batch production. The combination of a rigid mechanical structure, an advanced control system, and automated cutting functions delivers high productivity, consistent edge quality, and minimal production setup time.

Key Equipment Features:

• The machine is built on a fully welded steel base, stress-relieved and machined in a single setup. This construction maintains geometric stability even when processing sheets weighing up to 1000 kg. The gantry travels on precision linear guides driven by helical rack-and-pinion and servo motors, ensuring smooth motion and repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm.
• A 6 kW Maxphotonics laser source generates a stable beam at a wavelength of 1080±5 nm, enabling efficient cutting of carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper. High output power stability guarantees consistent cut quality throughout the entire production cycle.
• The Raytools cutting head features automatic focus and continuous monitoring of temperature, assist gas pressure, and protective lens condition. During operation, the system automatically maintains the optimal standoff between the nozzle and the sheet surface, compensating for any material unevenness and delivering stable cut quality without operator intervention.
• Machine control is handled by VECTOR Drive — a hardware and software platform built around an industrial CNC controller. The system supports automatic sheet edge detection, cutting height control, Fly Cut, Cutting Return, Frog Jump (Ping-Pong), automatic assist gas control, resume cutting after pause, and other algorithms that reduce non-productive time and increase material utilization efficiency.
• For continuous operation, the machine is equipped with an industrial compressor, a water cooling system, automatic lubrication, and a filtration station for cutting fume extraction. This configuration enables multi-shift operation with consistent performance.
