The Vector 2010FM is an industrial CNC router designed for powerful, precise milling of non-ferrous metals, alloys, and engineering plastics. The key feature of this model is its ultra-rigid, concrete-reinforced frame with a total weight of approximately 1500 kg. This engineering solution effectively damps low-frequency vibrations and resonances during heavy cutting, delivering high surface finish quality and stable part geometry.

The 2000×1000×250 mm work area and the aluminum T-slot table securely hold and machine both large-format sheet stock and bulky workpieces.

Design and Technical Features:

  • Motion on all axes is built on precision ballscrews and linear guideways. Hybrid stepper motors provide maximum torque and protection against missed steps. The system is designed for stable operation at working feed rates up to 8 m/min with repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm.
  • The machine is equipped with a powerful water-cooled spindle operating at speeds up to 12,000 rpm. Controlled through a 5.5 kW VFD, the drive delivers high torque at low speeds — critical for working with large-diameter carbide tools. A built-in thermal sensor provides overheat protection.
  • The machine features a coolant delivery system that directs fluid straight into the cutting zone, reducing thermal load on the tool and improving chip evacuation. The semi-automatic lubrication system simplifies routine maintenance of linear carriages and ballscrew nuts.
  • The work area is equipped with bright illumination for convenient process monitoring.
  • The flexible VECTOR Drive control system is built on proven industrial CNC controllers from leading global manufacturers. Depending on production requirements, engineers select and optimize the control electronics to match the dynamic characteristics of the machine. This simplifies integration into existing production processes and makes operator work easier.

Applications:

  • Milling of metal furniture fronts and production of complex architectural panels from aluminum alloys;
  • Series production of components for aeromodelling, as well as elements and assemblies for automotive and special equipment;
  • Production of complex designer pieces, signage, decorative installations, and three-dimensional items from brass, copper, and bronze;
  • Manufacturing of complex enclosures for electronic equipment, parts for high-tech premium devices, and exclusive souvenir products;
  • Design and fabrication of specialized tooling, templates, dies, and jigs for furniture and interior companies.
