The Vector 2515FV CNC router is designed for 2D and 3D machining of wood, plastics, and composite materials. The model is equipped with a vacuum hold-down system featuring a 5.5 kW pump, delivering uniform clamping pressure across sheet materials up to 3.75 m². The 2500×1500 mm work area is optimized for processing large workpieces without mechanical fixturing. The frame is built using Vector technology: a fully welded steel structure machined in a single setup to ensure geometric stability under load.

Technical Features and Advantages:

  • Vacuum hold-down without clamps. The operator places the sheet on the table, activates the vacuum, and starts the program. No clamps, vises, or mechanical fixtures. Uniform pressure across the entire surface eliminates workpiece distortion and allows machining of complex-shaped parts without the risk of tool collision with hold-downs. For furniture production, this means fast loading of full-size sheets of plywood, MDF, or plastic without additional fixturing.
  • 24,000 rpm handles both tools up to 13 mm in diameter and fine engraving bits. Water cooling stabilizes spindle temperature under sustained loads, and a built-in temperature sensor protects the spindle from overheating throughout a full shift.
  • Ballscrews on all axes provide minimal backlash on reversal and consistent repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm. A hinge pocket or a dowel hole will be identical on the first and the hundredth part.
  • The VECTOR Drive control system is a hardware and software platform for VECTOR machines, built on an industrial CNC controller. Depending on the equipment model and configuration, controllers from various manufacturers may be used, integrated, localized, and optimized by VECTOR engineers.
  • The semi-automatic lubrication system distributes oil evenly to the linear guides and ballscrews without daily operator attention — just periodic oil level checks. This prevents premature mechanical wear under intensive operation.
