The Vector 2810F.DOOR is a specialized center for end-face machining of door leaves and panels. It is engineered for stable operation in production environments: predictable accuracy, minimal downtime, and consistent results every shift.
The work area is optimized for most door blanks. The door leaf is clamped by pneumatic clamps, and a moving beam with two spindles travels along the frame, giving the tool access to the edges around the entire perimeter.
Key Design Features:
- The standard configuration includes two spindles: 4.0 kW (ER25) and 2.2 kW (ER20) — allowing sequential machining of hinge pockets and fastener holes without tool changes. Roughing and finishing, different hardware types — all in a single setup with no reconfiguration.
- Ballscrews on all axes, profile-type linear guides, and semi-automatic lubrication ensure smooth motion and high positioning accuracy.
- Bellow covers on all axes prevent dust and chips from reaching the moving components. The service life of precision components is maintained even under intensive operation in a woodworking shop.
- The VECTOR Drive control system is a hardware and software platform for VECTOR machines, built on an industrial CNC controller. Depending on the equipment model and configuration, controllers from various manufacturers may be used, integrated, localized, and optimized by VECTOR engineers.
- Pneumatic clamps, a height sensor, and other elements are configured to minimize manual labor and enable fast transitions between tasks.
Applications:
- In door production: cutting recesses for locks, mortise hinges, closers, and latches. Routing slots for glass, panels, and decorative elements. Edge machining for painting or veneering.
- In furniture production: routing the edges of fronts, countertops, and cabinet components. Cutting hardware recesses in large-format panel parts.
- Machining of long elements, panels, and floor slabs where precise edge recessing is required in series production.
The Vector 2810F.DOOR is specialized equipment for manufacturers who need predictable quality in door leaf edge machining in series mode. An expert-engineered solution for a specific production task.
