The Vector 1510FM is an industrial CNC router engineered for series production of high-precision cutting, milling, and engraving of non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, brass, duralumin, and bronze). The optimal 1500×1000 mm work area handles both large-format cutting and multi-part batch nesting of small components in a single setup.
Key Technological Advantages of the Vector 1510FM:
- The 4 kW water-cooled spindle is built for heavy-duty metalworking. Limiting speed to 12,000 rpm guarantees maximum torque at low speeds for consistent cutting force. The powerful chuck with an ER25 collet accepts tools up to 16 mm in diameter, while the closed-loop cooling system with a built-in thermal sensor eliminates overheating during round-the-clock operation.
- The fully welded steel frame is machined in a single setup using Vector technology on portal CNC equipment, guaranteeing ideal geometry of mounting surfaces. Kinematics based on linear guides and ballscrews on all axes completely dampen vibration and deliver positioning accuracy down to hundredths of a millimeter.
- A directed flow of coolant into the cutting zone instantly removes heat and reduces friction. This allows working at maximum feed rates, significantly improves surface finish, and extends tool life.
- Axis bellow covers reliably isolate ballscrews and linear carriages from fine metal chips and dust. Centralized semi-automatic lubrication evenly distributes oil to all moving components. Maintenance is reduced to a simple visual oil level check, minimizing human error and machine downtime.
- The hardware and software complex runs under a localized industrial CNC controller. The system is fully optimized by VECTOR engineers for uninterrupted, high-speed machining of complex 3D toolpaths without delays.
